Reporting a correction (and how we handle it)
Compensation figures change — the Judicial College Guidelines are reissued every few years, and the Ministry of Justice updates the statutory whiplash tariff periodically. If you think a number, date or statement on the site is wrong or out of date, please tell us. To help us fix it fast, include:
- The page address (URL) where you saw it — for example /whiplash-compensation-calculator.
- The exact figure or sentence you believe is incorrect.
- Where possible, a link to the official source (for example a gov.uk page or the relevant Judicial College Guidelines edition) that shows the correct figure.
Accuracy reports go to the top of the queue. We verify the change against the published source before we touch the page, then update the figure and the “last updated” date so you can see it has been refreshed.
